Dead Gangetic Dolphin, an endangered freshwater dolphin species. Victim of another industrial accident – the Oil India Gas well blowout in Tinsukia district, upper Assam. Dibru river (flows into Brahmaputra close by) heavily polluted with associated oil. Just 1 Km from the accident site is Dibru-Saikhowa national park, and another biodiversity rich wetland is within 2 Kms.
