Are we much closer to a Climate Catastrophe than IPCC (& others) predicted ?

Are we much closer to a Climate Catastrophe than IPCC (& others) predicted ? The “International Siberian Shelf Study Expedition 2020” found in late October 2020, that massive methane bursts are already happening (with upto 400 times as much CH4 release as normal) from shallow sea beds in Laptev sea & nearby areas in Arctic Ocean. Over a 20 year period, CH4 is about 84 times more powerful GHG than CO2. And there’s over 1500 billion tons C in permafrost, over 3 times of all land vegetation! If this do not stop soon — Curtains for Climate stability.
